What days do you ship?

We ship the puddings Monday- Wednesday so they do not have to sit in a warehouse over the weekend.   They should arrive Wednesday through Saturday.  At busy times of year please allow 2 days to process the order.

Orders sent after midday on Wednesday may not ship until Monday.  Use the message box to specify your desired arrival date and any message.

If you need an Express Delivery – please call or email and we will try to help although there will be extra shipping charges.

Can you explain your peanut allergy program?

The products are baked in a facility where tree nuts or peanuts are present.  We take the following steps to avoid cross contamination:
Peanut and tree nuts are stored in sealed containers on separate shelving to other ingredients.
Our non peanut products are baked before any peanut products during a production day.
All surfaces and equipment are cleaned and sterilized to avoid cross contamination before production begins.
Bakers uniforms are covered with disposal aprons when peanut products are baked.

Do the puddings need to be refrigerated?

The dessert is shelf stable for approximately two weeks.  This allows us to ship unrefrigerated and save you money.  Refrigerating upon arrival is recommended to extend shelf life.  The puddings can be refrigerated for 8 weeks and they do freeze beautifully for up to 6 months.

Puddings are shipped by Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days.

How can I heat the puddings?

The puddings are simple to heat – either microwave in the container for 40 seconds (850watts) or warm in a preheated oven – 350F/180 C for 10-15 minutes.  The containers are oven proof but place on a baking sheet.  Toaster oven heating is not recommended.

How shall I serve my puddings?

All the puddings can be turned out on to a serving place or dish. Serve with cream, crème fraiche or ice-cream.  If you wish to go an extra step you can make crème anglais (hot custard sauce).  Some people push the boat out and add a dash of Baileys!
